Finding a new home...

There are many places you can look for a new home.  These include browsing the real estate ads in publications such as:

...and your local papers.

This is often a hit-and-miss method.  You can also check out listings through the RealtyLink in Print, or online.  These show most of the MLS listings.

Most properties are listed on the Multiple Listing Service, and with Becci's computerized access to the MLS, this is often the most effective.

Using the computerized MLS system, Becci will enter your home search parameters such as, size, price, area, rooms, heat parking, etc.  The computer will search through all the active listings and provide you with a list of suitable homes for you to view.

Together, you and Becci will then sort through these properties, on paper, and determine if they interest you.  Drive-by viewings are also an option.  Once the list has been narrowed down to the most appropriate properties, Becci will then arrange appointments to view the interiors.

When out viewing the properties, Becci will provide you with a method of comparison to help you isolate the advantages and disadvantages of each property to help you make the as to which will be your new home.

Here is a preview of factors to consider when looking for a new home:

  • Where are the nearest transportation routes?

  • Where are the nearest business and shopping centres?

  • Is there heavy traffic nearby?
